Pitaya Bowl Recipe

Do you want to feel like you are somewhere exotic even though you may be stuck in your cubicle or glaring out the window when it's -10 out? Well introducing Pitaya Frozen Packs. These bad boys are from the super fruit that is Dragon Fruit and are filled with antioxidant ingredients. They not only look good visually but they make your insides happy. You can purchase them from health food stores in the USA!

We thought we would share our delicious recipe for them as they are especially tasty during the hot summer months!

Serving: Makes 2 bowl


  • 2 (3.5 oz) pack frozen Pitaya
  • 2 frozen bananas 
  • 1/3 frozen pineapples
  • 1/3 frozen strawberries
  • 1/3 greek yogurt ( I used coconut flavour)
  • 1/4 cup of milk ( or a little water as well if things are breaking up)

Topping suggestions: 

  • chia seeds
  • hemp seeds
  • granola 
  • berries
  • banana slices 
  • kiwi chunks 

1. Roughly break up the frozen pitaya into chunks if using the pack and place it into a good blender. Add any other frozen fruit and just enough liquid to blend. Blend until well combined. Transfer frozen mixture to a bowl and top with your favorite toppings.


Enjoy right away or freeze until you're ready (but not too long or it will be rock hard).
