Last week we were lucky enough to hang out at the Green Barn in Toronto with the one and only Chuck Hughes.  For anyone unfamiliar with him, he is the chef behind the Montreal based restaurants Garde Manger and La Bremner but also known for his popular show on the Food Nextwork “Chuck’s Day off”.  (Sidenote: He is also quite handsome)

Mr. Hughes has collaborated with luxury cooking brand Le Creuset (also our FAVOURITE cookware to do ANYTHING with!) and together they are raising money for Community Food Centres Canada. Le Creuset is generously providing the centres with all of the cooking supplies. Along with this, they have come out with a Limited Edition Mini Cocotte set (the box includes Chuck Hughes recipes as well) and retails for $79.99. All proceeds from the 3 piece set will be donated back to the centers.

The night was truly special as we had the chance to watch Chuck do a little cooking demonstration for us while we sipped on some delicious wine. There was also Le Creuset displays that were set up around the event space that made us want to buy a set in every colour!
